Recruitnow - Integration

‍With the help of The Selection Lab, you can automate your customized selection procedures. Our integrations allow you to use functionalities directly from the ATS you are already familiar with. With the RecruitNow integration, it is possible to invite candidates directly from a Match. In addition to status updates, once a candidate shares the assessment result, you will find a link to the report directly in RecruitNow.

1. Strippenkaart (credit package)

To activate the integration between RecruitNow and The Selection Lab, additional functionalities are required in your RecruitNow account/Cockpit environment. RecruitNow works with a strippenkaart for adding functionalities. This needs to be requested if not previously obtained (for a minimum of 10 hours) via the following link: https://support.recruitnow.nl/page/strippenkaart.

2. Access to the Public API

The integration between RecruitNow and The Selection Lab works through an API. With the API functionality, it is possible to receive assessment requests at The Selection Lab and, after completing the assessment, upload the status/result information back to RecruitNow. To do this, access to the client-specific API is required. You may have already requested this (or it could be part of your contract). In that case, we would appreciate receiving your API key (see 'Next Steps'). If no API key is available yet, it must be requested via the following URL: https://support.recruitnow.nl/page/publicapi.

3.  ‘Match’ statuses in RecruitNow

‍Candidates can be invited by changing the Match status to a The Selection Lab assessment status. These statuses are not available by default and will need to be requested. The status request must be made by the end-user (customer). For each type of assessment for which invitations can be sent, one status will be added.In the request, please indicate that it is for the two statuses below for integration with The Selection Lab:

  • TSL: Personality Questionnaire
  • TSL: Personality Questionnaire + Cognitive Test

No additional input fields need to be provided for the status. Depending on your companies' options within The Selection Lab, these statuses may differ.

4. Share the information with The Selection Lab:

Once the statuses and API key are available, we would appreciate receiving an update with the following information:

  • A screenshot of the added statuses
  • The API key
  • Your cockpit URL (which can be found in the URL bar after logging into the cockpit). This might be something like: https://clientname.recruitnowcockpit.nl/

With this information, we can further set up the connection on The Selection Lab’s side. You will receive a message once it is possible to send assessments via RecruitNow.

5. Extra: How does the integration work?

‍An invitation is sent by selecting the corresponding status. From there, the process works the same for candidates as when an invitation is sent via the portal. After a candidate completes the assessment, they will have the option to share the result. When this is done, a status update appears for the candidate in the RecruitNow environment, including a link to the report.
