Making an assessment from The Selection Lab
The assessment of The Selection Lab provides insight into various personality traits, including your personality, cognitive and emotional intelligence, core values and preferences in the type of company culture. After completing the assessment, the outcome will be displayed in a personality report. The organisation will only see this report after you have given explicit permission to share it.

You will receive your report within 10 minutes upon completing the assessment in your inbox and you must share it yourself with the organisation to which you are applying.
Practice well for the cognitive intelligence test.
The cognitive intelligence test consists of 3 to 4 parts depending on which invite you have received. These parts are verbal intelligence, numerical intelligence, abstract intelligence and text comprehension. Text comprehension is not measured in all cognitive tests. View the explanation in the invitation or see whether or not text comprehension is also part of your assessment.
It is important to practice well before taking the cognitive test. In the invitation you have received we refer you to suitable websites. Here you can practice the parts that you see reflected in the assessment. Please note, there is no time limit for these practice tests so that you can get used to this type of questioning. In the real test there is a tight time limit. During the test, you will be show how many questions you have yet to answer and how much time you have left. Before you begin the actual test, you will also receive a number of practice questions for each component.
There is no right or wrong answer when completing the personality questionnaire.
There are no right or wrong answers to give during the personality questionnaire. The answers you provide here are only indicative of the extent to which you possess certain characteristics.
Answer the questions as honestly as possible in order to gain the best insight into your own personality. Some people find it difficult to answer certain questions. In that case, use the principle that the first answer that comes to mind is often the best answer. So don't think about it too long.
The use of pen, paper and a calculator is permitted.
Many people prefer taking the cognitive test using a pen, paper, and a calculator. This is allowed. Pay close attention to the amount of time you have per question. It is not allowed to receive help from other peoples whilst making the test.
You can take the test wherever you like or where the organisation tells you to take it. Do make sure that it is somewhere where you can't be distracted.
You are the owner of your own data.
You are the owner of your personal data and test results at all times. You decide whether you want to share your personality report with the organisation where you are applying and whether you want the data to be saved after your application.
You can take both the cognitive test and the personality questionnaire from your desktop, laptop or smartphone. However, the text comprehension part of the cognitive test can only be made via a desktop or laptop. Make sure that you are not distracted during the cognitive test and that you have a stable internet connection. Once you have started the test, you have to finish it.
